A blend of wool created from the fleece of 16 different rare sheep breeds from the following city farms – Spitalfields, Mudchute, Surrey Docks, Vauxhall, Stepney, Wellgate, Lambourne, Woodlands Farm Trust, and Battersea Zoo. This is a beautiful, rugged wool that I have dyed inspired by the iconic design scheme of Transport for London’s tube lines and upholstery (moquette).
Each set is 100g comprising 1 x 20g Semi Solid (the tube line) and 4 × 20g variegated based on the moquette of that tube line.
We have calculated the meterage to be around 80m per mini skein - sport weight.
Currently lines available lines are:
Circle line - Yellow Solid with charcoal grey, green, yellow and pink variegated
Old School District Line - Green Solid with brown variegated
Elizabeth Line - Purple with charcoal grey, green, yellow and pink variegated
Modern District line - Green solid with charcoal grey, green, yellow and pink variegated
Metropolitan Line - Magenta Solid with charcoal grey, green, yellow and pink variegated
Hammersmith and City Line - Pink with charcoal grey, green, yellow and pink variegated
Jubilee Line - Grey Solid with blue, red and grey variegated
Northern Line - Black Solid with blue, red and grey variegated
Central Line - Red Solid with blue, red and grey Variegated
Piccadilly Line - Dark Blue Sold with blue, orange, green and red variegated
